Brighton Marathon

The dictionary definition of ‘Marathon’ is:

A long-distance running race, strictly one of 26 miles 385 yards (42.195 km).  A long-lasting and difficult task

‘Long lasting & difficult task’ is perhaps an understatement. Although thousands take part in this ancient test of physical endurance each year, this did not make a full marathon seem any more palatable! Having only ran half marathons before – and being absolutely pooped at the end of them, it is very hard to conceive how anyone can actually finish these. Michael Schofield & myself, stepped up to the bar and it felt like we hit a few times but with almost £2000 in sponsorship, we had a lot to be running for. Check out our blog entry for how it went.
