BOP ‘Shake the Roof & Build a Roof!’ Fundraiser
On October 11th 2009 we launched the first fundraiser event. The night had all the glitz that you expect from big fundraising bash! Nice bubbly, prizes & live music to name a few – and by all accounts, was a very enjoyable evening indeed.
Pleasantries aside, the aim of the night was to help build a roof for a very particular orphanage that had that very specific need. To be coupled alongside the basic provision of food and other essentials.
In the end we were able to send just over $1000 and were soon to discover that no time is being lost! The building work is now complete! Please check out the gallery for pictures from the event plus the new roof! Thank you all your kind support!
